Frequently Asked Questions

WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR CERTIFICATION CLASSES?

First and most important:

-Having people invest in their certification helps ensure follow-through. When people don't have to pay for their own certification, they are not as concerned about doing well or even finishing the course.
Whereas if they have paid into it, they are more likely to put forth the effort as well as stay with the client to make up for their investment.
(The ones that cost more are clients who want to minimize the turnover rate. They want agents who are highly trained and experienced instead of having a revolving door.)
Lower  costs mean emptier classes and a low certification rate.

-Certification cost helps cover the cost of background checks as well as the more extensive check and drug screens that some clients require.   Why don't clients pay for this since they would do so if you were  working in person? With remote agents, they have less control over the process, and could lose a lot of $$ from people who aren't seriously interested in doing what needs to be done.  It's all about weeding out the agents who don't care.

-Equipment. Some clients use security tokens that are worth $150. Others use ASDs  that used to cost the agent $250. (These have evolved and become more efficient and less bulky with lower cost, so you are no longer required to purchase them.)

-Supply and demand. If they have a LOT of seats to fill, cost is less. For clients who only need a few people who are serious and dedicated, certification cost will be more.
